John Christie 1895

John Christie, No. 630,103, Bombardier, Royal Field Artillery, 51st. Highland Division....."Served with Honour and was Disabled in the Great War. Honourably Discharged on 31st May 1919 signed George, R.I.

John volunteered around September 1914 and was in France the whole time except for two home leaves of a fortnight each. What one would call a long war. His final disabling wound came only three weeks before the Armistice was signed.
